PERSONALITY; Marigold's personality pretty much matches her appearance: dainty, fragile, tiny. She's a bit shy, though she usually manages to overcome that, and is very old-fashioned and ladylike. She's easily startled, can be convinced easily, and she's very gentle. Also, she has a soft spot for the young and innocent-looking, adding to her gullibility. When it comes to love, Mari falls in and out often, crashing hard if the one she adored decides to leave her since she doesn't like sharing her mate. Since she's mainly wandered all of her life, never really fitting in completely, she tends to cling to people once they finally decide to be her friend. Mari is quite a nice little horse though, for the most part. She just likes it when everyone is happy and there is peace.
HISTORY; Five years ago, a pony named Daisy Lass wandered the lands. She was a polite and dainty, like how she thought proper, and had very outdated views on things. She lived a peaceful life, that is, until she was force bred by a random stallion. It was hell for her, yes, but she kept her head held high through it all. She didn't want to disappoint her filly, to teach her wrong, so she kept a cool head and gave her daughter all the love she could. She taught Marigold, who was golden as the sun and pretty as the flower she was named after, all the values she had.
And then Marigold was ripped out of her mother's embrace, just like that. They had her in the labs for ages, trying to mix her genes with that of bugs, just to see what would happen. But all the gave her were useless dragonfly wings. Disappointed, they threw her out of their land, back into the place of horses, before they even died off. Brokenhearted, Mari spent most of her time looking for her mother. Sadly, she never found her, but she still goes out to search sometimes, holding onto the small string of hope she still keeps locked up.
